Age of humility

he waits with hopeful eyes as he anxiously observes the plastic clock on the wall
she moves closer to the mirror looking at her masscara filled eyes, and powdered cheeks

they stood in the club in a circle cracking jokes about other people, as they experimented with their personality and gave it its test run

he lies on the pavement drapped in ragged bags made of straw trying to keep warm, as cars speed by with their headlights strong and hard bouncing off every wall

he stood there lonely, afraid and confused with his black heavy garment, trying to convince those far more fortunate and richer than him to move in the direction he tells them to but at no avail, he stood beside the traffic light, which didn't suppport his direction, actually weakened it

they rushed towards the beginning of the que and whispered to the guard that they'll give him all the money he wants but let them pass as the rest of the crowd furiously screamed and yelled in anger, the guard took the money and let the guy pass as the rest of the crowd frowned and yelled at him for doing so

speechless ghosts

I am the father of my sin .... the priest of my dead conscience
I stand upon a hollow grave .... eyeing moments which lay breathless
A dry yellow leaf ........falls upon the headstoneA sigh of deep relief ...cutting through the silence
I could hear their blistered cries .... echoing in the darkness
They once adorned the sky .... of a mind forever restless
The wind slaps us hard .... as if with cold bitter venganceA new day is born .... begging for repentance
The grass wears cloaks of tears ....a shield from the ruthless winter
No flowers shall ever grow ... on the edges of this accursed sepulcar
The stone reads silence .... blind, deaf and speechlessno one shall speak their name .... as memories are simply nameless

It doesn't work that way!

sometimes you build something you're very proud of, something you put your heart and mind to, something that makes a lot of difference to you, something that changes your perspective and gets you to see life rosie and pleasant....... but sometimes people don't share your point of view, i tried considering what could be the motives of those who flame out at strangers after reading their blogs, and i came up with the following:

1. You've somehow offended them with your writing in a way which cannot be restrained, maybe stressed on a deeply instilled personal complex

2. They seek to validate their existance by attempting to belittle other people's achievements and contributions

3. They're underappreicated and so they seek an outlet so as to re-channel all the negative energy to someone else

4. They have anger problems due to whatever reasons

...there could be so many different reasons which probably seem reasonable and logical to those aggressors, reasons which i don't appreciate....but understand
