I still can't believe ... Egypt is Free!

Far from home ... blindfold ... in a dark room waiting for pictures to mount in the corners of my mind

Cannot scream ... cannot walk along the streets ... and live the dream
blood of the martyrs ... upon the curbstones ... of Tahrir square
flaming bullets ... piercing through the armor ... of stone cold colonels of fear
the sound of the free ... the sound of history

Egypt is Free! ..... it isn't a dream

barricades shattered ... into pieces ... releasing our beloved country
To walk proudly ... with her head held high ... beside the river where she cried

OH! YES! It's real! It's not a dream!
We can finally say we're free!

shaking fists with broken fingers against the tyrants of hypocrisy
upon the land ... land of our fathers ... land of our children ... land of the free!
We say!
